Kuo Chao Hsuan is a Ph.D candidate at the National Cheng Kung University in Tainan. His research project intends to explore the constitutionalization of Taiwan’s family law, especially how the individual rights conception of the child change Taiwan’s family law development since the 1980’s. His research interests are based upon his work experience. Previously as clerk at the family tribunal of the district courts, currently at the Tainan City Government he handles the review of administrative appeal affairs related to the welfare of children.
