The ninth edition of the biennial Brazil-Germany Symposium on Sustainable Development aims at understanding the complexity of coupling human and natural components in integrating systems for sustainable development in Brazil and Germany. The Symposium will take place from 15 to 17 September, 2019, at the University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany.

Experience an unique gathering, listen to leading keynote speakers and scientists from science, politics, economy and society, and discuss current environmental issues. The symposium will allow the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas and experiences among all participants.

We would like to invite you to subsequently attend the Tropentag 2019, from 18 to 20 September, at the University of Kassel, Kassel, Germany. The Topentag conference is an annual, development-oriented and interdisciplinary conference on research in tropical and subtropical agriculture, natural resource management, and rural development. This year the theme will be: "Filling gaps and removing traps for sustainable resources development". Transport from Stuttgart to Kassel will be organized.
