How The Deutschlandstipendium Works
Join us in supporting the Deutschlandstipendium, a government initiative designed to uplift talented students who excel academically and demonstrate social dedication. Through this program, sponsored students receive a monthly stipend of 300.00 euros for one year. Every euro you donate is doubled by the federal government. i.e. for each awarded Deutschlandstipendium, the 150.00 euros that are generously contributed by private donors are matched by an additional 150.00 euros from federal funds.

Free Scholarships: These scholarships are open to students from any discipline. By choosing this option, your support will benefit talented individuals across a wide range of fields of study, allowing for a broad impact on the student community.
Earmarked Scholarships: With earmarked scholarships, you can specify the discipline(s) for which the scholarship will be awarded. This targeted approach ensures that your support directly benefits students within your preferred field(s) of study, focusing your impact on a specific area of academic excellence.

Tax Benefits for Your Contribution: Can I Claim the Subsidy for Tax Purposes?
Yes, the funds provided by sponsors for the Deutschlandstipendium can be claimed as tax-reducing expenses for tax-privileged purposes, as stated in Section 10b (1) of the German Income Tax Act. These contributions can be considered alongside other tax-privileged expenses, up to a maximum of 20 percent of the total income or four per mille of the sum of total sales and wages and salaries expended within the calendar year.
