- Introduction to online metabolic pathway databases
- Exercises / hands-on with useful software for working with metabolic networks:
- Escher for visualization and
- reconstruction with KEGGtranslator
- practical excercise: reconstruction using online resource lookup
- Introduction to constraint-based modeling and tutorial on COBRApy
- Reconstruction and simulation of networks
- Practical exercise in metabolic engineering using COBRApy/COBRA Toolbox
- and visualizaion of results and data with Escher
This full-day course will be held by Prof. Nathan E. Lewis, Ph.D., (University of California, San Diego) together with Dr. Andreas Dräger on 30 August 2016 at the SIB in Lausanne.
