Applied Cognitive Psychology
In our lab, we investigate research questions in the domain of Applied Cognitive Psychology. We focus on collaborative and individual processes of knowledge construction and perception and their consequences. Combining the approaches of both applied and basic research, we target applied subjects using paradigms and theories from basic research.
We are currently pursuing multiple projects investigating cognitive and social consequences of interaction and knowledge construction using touch-based technology.
Find a detailed list of our current projects by clicking on Research.
The lecture series on Applied Cognitive Psychology with the title „Angewandte Kognitionspsychologie: Wissen, Kommunikation und Medien“ brings together Media and Communication Psychology on the one hand, and Knowledge Psychology on the other.
