Doctoral program “Problem-oriented Sports Science”
The doctoral program (2017 – 2020), designed in conjunction with the Institute of Sports Science at the University of Bern, will be expanded in the funding period 2021 – 2024 by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the Technical University of Munich.

- From the 23rd to the 25th of June, 2021, the first Summer School of the funding period 2021-2024 took place digitally.
- From the 24th to the 26th of March, 2021, an online PhD Workshop on the fields of sports sociology and management took place.
- The planned 2020 Summer School was cancelled due to the Corona pandemic.
- From the 4th to the 6th of July, 2019, the third Summer School took place in Grafenhausen (G). A report (in English) on the event can be found here.
