Biographie:

Fernando Wirtz holds a Licentiate in Philosophy from the University of Buenos Aires and a PhD in Philosophy from the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen. He was also a postdoc fellow at the University of Kyoto. His postdoc project (supported by Thyssen Foundation, March 2021-) is about the concept of myth in the Japanese philosophy during the 1930’s. Besides Japanese philosophy, he also specializes in German idealism, intercultural philosophy and philosophy of myth. He is also a board member of the Gesellschaft für Interkulturelle Philosophie (http://www.int-gip.de).
