Dr. Özgür Bulut (Paleoanthropology), Ankara University, Turkey: Facial Reconstruction: Imaging the Faces from the Past


Facial reconstruction is the process of recreating the face of an individual often used in archaeological researches and forensic investigations to reconstruct a likeness of the dead from the skull. This talk will focus on the role of facial reconstruction in the process of identification and/or providing a tangible impression of individuals from our past. The talk will also include with the future projections of my current related researches in Tübingen.
