The Institute congratulates Alina Böhm for becoming German Champion

Alina Böhm, student in the B.A. Sports Science study program (specialization in Sport Media and Communication) won the gold medal at the German Judo Championships 2020.

Alina Böhm (JC Heubach) from the Institute of Sports Science, University of Tübingen, won the title in the -70 kg category at the German Judo Championships on 25th and 26th January 2020 in Stuttgart. In the final, she won against Marlene Galandi from UJKC Potsdam. “The title is very important to me. It is my first title in the seniors’ class. It was an incredible feeling to win gold in Stuttgart in front of the home audience”, the judoka explained.

Next to Alina Böhm, two other students from the University of Tübingen were successful: Lukas Klemm (Medical Technology) and Fabian Hässner (Physics and Economics) - both from VfL Sindelfingen - achieved second and third places in the weight category up to 60 kg.
