TüSE meets Johannesburg and Melbourne
On July 10th 2019, the Tübingen School of Education met with Partners from Johannesburg and Melbourne.
Researchers from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, from the University of Melbourne and from Tübingen presented their work and discussed current questions and issues in teacher education. The following presentations were held:
Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ruksana Osman from Johannesburg presented the profile of her UNESCO Chair in Teacher Education for Diversity and Development.
Prof. Dr. Felix Maringe from Johannesburg presented the Wits School of Education.
Prof. Dr. Philip Mead from Melbourne presented a project on Literary Knowledge of English Teachers.
Prof. Dr. Andreas Lachner from Tübingen presented his work in digital media education.
Prof. Dr. Carolin Führer from Tübingen presented her work on cultural memory education with students from Tübingen and Johannesburg.
