He is interested in research on families and couples, fan culture, and qualitative methods of empirical social research. His dissertation on "fathers' initatives" is supervised by Prof. Dr. Marion Müller.
Elif Çelikoğlu studied Social and Cultural Anthropology, Modern German Literature and Public International Law in Tübingen, where she graduated in 2012. Her dissertation is supervised by PD Dr. Sabine Klocke-Daffa and Prof. Dr. Regina Ammicht Quinn.

Fereshteh Yousefi studied English in Teheran and Tübingen, and graduated with a Master of Arts in 2017. Her current research focuses on questions of gender and gender binaries in 20th-century literature. Her dissertation is supervised by Prof. Dr. Ingrid Hotz-Davies.
