The Center for Interdisciplinary and Intercultural Studies (CIIS) is a central scientific institution of the University of Tübingen. Its main focus is, on the one hand, the mediation of the natural sciences with the social sciences and humanities, and on the other hand, intercultural research. The CIIS invites Research Fellows, organises workshops and conferences and offers its own teaching programme for students and doctoral candidates of all disciplines. It is supported in its work by an academic advisory board, which brings together representatives of all faculties. The CIIS is located in the study house of the Udo Keller Foundation Forum Humanum at the University of Tübingen.
