College of Fellows

Center for Interdisciplinary and Intercultural Studies

The College of Fellows (CoF) is a central institution of the University of Tübingen and is currently being established within the framework of the Excellence Strategy of the German federal and state governments. As a further development of the previous Center for Interdisciplinary and Intercultural Studies (CIIS), the CoF is an institution for interdisciplinary and intercultural exchange as well as a research, networking and event platform for postdoctoral researchers who come to the University of Tübingen from abroad for a longer period of time.

In addition to their research at the respective host institute, the fellows at the College are given the opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary Focus Groups, international events and informal networking meetings. In doing so, they can deepen their research in structured teamwork as well as enter into a scientific communication exchange with society in the Public College and through various media formats and publications.

The CoF is expected to open in early 2022.
