Materials for Reflection on Racism and Anti-racism

In our society there is a growing awareness of racism and injustice. Nevertheless, we continue to experience the perpetuation of structural racism in our society - not only in Germany, but worldwide. The academic sector is no exception. While diversity is welcomed and institutions try to include scholars from different backgrounds, the balance of power and power structures have not changed significantly. The IZEW would like to contribute to raising awareness of persistent problems of racism. For this reason, IZEW researchers have compiled this list of materials. It invites researchers, teachers and students to reflect on the subject. It can also broaden our understanding of racism, its causes and anti-racist attitudes and movements.
