  • 1992-1995 DFG scholarship holder in the Research Training Group 'Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities' at the International Centre for Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities (IZEW) of the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen
  • Since 1996 research associate at the IZEW:
    1996-1999 in the research project "School Ethics Technology" (SET)
  • Since 2000 Coordinator of the Department of Ethics and Education at the IZEW
  • Since 2001 Coordinator of the Ethical-Philosophical Basic Studies (EPG) for the teacher training courses at the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen
  • 2008 Doctorate at the Technical University of Dresden on the theory of ethical judgement and basic education
