Matthias Bornemann

Scientific Coordinator of the Platform 4

Matthias Bornemann studied sociology with a minor in social psychology and communication sciences in Munich. He has been working at the IZEW since 2011, currently as coordinator of Platform 4 within the Excellence Initiative and in the project "Competence Centre for Sustainable Development". He is also doing his doctorate with a thesis on "participation" (Supervision: Prof. Armin Nassehi).

Career

Studied sociology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich with minors in communication science and social psychology.

Since April 2011 at the IZEW. Initially as a certified assistant in the managing office. From June 2013 to May 2014 scientific coordinator as a substitute.

Since April 2014 coordinator of Platform 4 "Education - Society - Norms - Ethical Reflection" within the Excellence Initiative.

PhD student with a sociological thesis on "Participation" at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (Prof. Armin Nassehi).
