The ZFM has been organizing the service learning project "FestivalTV" together with the Filmtage Tübingen e.V. (Film Days Tübingen e.V.) for many years. “FestivalTV” is an innovative teaching and learning laboratory in Baden-Württemberg for young media-makers as well as those just getting started and those who are simply interested in media.

In a five-week, intensive program, students of all disciplines and media designers in training create a wide range of media products and forms of expression for the largest showcase of francophone cinema in Germany: the Französische Filmtage Tübingen | Stuttgart (French Film Days Tübingen | Stuttgart).

In the triangle between strategic communication, journalism and creative formats, students and trainees produce diverse media products in the field of film culture, Franco-German relations and media education, both for an established festival community and for an interested audience. Through numerous fields of activity - on the big screen the small - FestivalTV News communicates, gives background and tells stories from Paris, Tübingen and Stuttgart.
