A Summer School for Teacher Candidates
- on bachelor's and master's level -
- How can teacher candidates from different countries work together on the issues of teaching methodology, educational theory, and practice?
- How can international students learn more about Tübingen’s system of teacher education?
- How can Europe’s future teachers discuss teaching-related issues from different perspectives?
The International Education Week is a Summer School on European Teacher Education that first took place in August 2018. It invites international teacher candidates from European Universities as well as teacher candidates from the University of Tübingen. The project of the Tübingen School of Education (TüSE) aims to promote conversation and reflection about European teacher education and educational systems across European borders. The courses offered are part of the regular modules of the teacher education curriculum at the University of Tübingen (GymPO, B.Ed., M.Ed.). All courses are taught in English.
This project is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with financial support of the Federal Foreign Office
