Handstand Workshop

If you want to learn how to handstand for the first time or want to perfect your handstand this workshop is a must!

Coach Kai is our calisthenics and bodyweight training specialist at KuF.

Calisthenics Basics Workshop
Saturday, 09/12/23, 5 p.m - 7 p.m.
This workshop is designed to give you an introduction to the world of calisthenics. Find out what calisthenics is and why training with your own body weight is such an effective way to improve strength and endurance as well as flexibility.
What's included?
- Basic anatomical and biomechanical knowledge
- Appropriate warm-up and preparation exercises
- Learning the correct technique of

Coach Kai is our specialist for training with your own bodyweight. With his years of experience he wants to teach you the basics of calisthenic training.

What's included?
- 1x 1,5hr group coached sessions a week
- 6 week, personalized strength training program with the option of a 2,3 or 4 days a week routine.
- Instant message access to your coach throughout the week
The 1.5 hr weekly group coached sessions will be held on Saturdays 17-18:30 starting on 28/10 an finishing on 02/11.
The program will be based around the Big 3 powerlifts (squat, bench press and deadlift) with a selection of other strength movements and hypertrophy training. There will be options within the program to adjust the exercises used based on any physical requirements or preferences you have.
Luke Selway is a powerlifting coach who has coached and competed in New Zealand.
He would like to share his experience from training and coaching to help you maximize the safety, benefits and performance while training.

"Push, Pull, Legs" is a training split that alternates push (push), pull (pull) and leg (legs) exercises. This workshop will cover the push exercises (chest, shoulders and triceps).

- Fundamental understanding of the optimal use of equipment (dumbbells, cable pulls, machines) and exercise selection
