Dr. Maja Flaig

Maja Flaig is a postdoctoral researcher at the Hector Research Institute of Education Sciences and Psychology. Her research centers around instructional design, higher and continued education. For example, she is concerned with the design and evaluation of extracurricular courses for gifted children at the elementary level and trainings for teachers in the Hector Children’s Academies. In these investigations, she is mainly interested in how cognitive activation during instruction and learners‘ prior knowledge affect learning.
