Dr. Marina Pumptow

Marina Pumptow is a postdoctoral researcher at the Hector Research Institute of Education Sciences and Psychology, where her work involves the BMBF project SchuMaS („Schule macht stark“) in the Evaluation-Metacluster. Her research is located at the interface of the main research areas educational effectiveness/methods and in the field of digitalisation and higher education. Currently, she is working on the identification of study success factors and the development of an automated early warning system for students at risk of dropping out based on US higher education data and on methods from the fields of learning analytics and educational data mining.
