Beats & Movement – Discovering Patterns in Music

Course Objective

The course promotes fundamental musical skills and strengthens inductive thinking.

Course Content

In the course “Beats and Movement”, children develop basic rhythmic abilities and enhance their inductive thinking through play. With movement activities, rhythm games, and musical logic puzzles, they experience how thinking, music, and movement can be meaningfully connected. Along the way, they improve essential musical skills such as beat perception, beat synchronization, rhythm imitation, and metric stability.

Target Group

The course is designed for particularly gifted and highly gifted second-grade students participating in the Hector Children’s Academy program.
