Cultural Heritage

The focus on cultural heritage is a designated subject area within the field of regional ethnography at the Ludwig Uhland Institute. In particular, studies in this area look at on changes in cultural heritage within the context of a migration society. In addition, there are studies focusing on the category of space, and on customs and the celebration of Carnival, and on culinary knowledge. All of these topics are also adressed in lectures.
