Structure of Program / Progression of Studies in PO 2018 (valid starting October 2018)

The program in Historical and Cultural Anthropology (BA) at the Ludwig Uhland Institute is a Bachelor’s program.

It is made up of a major and minor subject totaling 180 credit points (CP). The major comprises 99 CP including the Bachelor’s thesis, and in addition students complete 60 CP in a minor subject and additional qualifications totaling 21 CP.

In the BA program, any of the social science, cultural science, and humanities Bachelor’s programs at the University of Tübingen may be chosen as a minor subject.

The program is divided into modules. A module is made up of several courses (seminars, excursions, lectures, tutorials, colloquia, internships) in which the discipline’s subjects are explored.

The progression of studies in the Bachelor’s program is described and explained together with the content and requirements for the individual modules in the  recommended course plan / module handbook major subject and recommended course plan / module handbook minor subject.
