Major Subject Sociology

The Bachelor's program in Sociology focuses on the teaching of scientifically sound qualifications related to professional fields. This takes into account that there is a need for sociologically qualified graduates in numerous professional fields such as market research, public relations, human resources management, social planning, journalism or consulting without the requirements having crystallized into a fixed professional profile so far. The orientation towards professional qualification of the BA is underlined by a mandatory internship.

The special profile of Tübingen's Sociology programs lies in the combination of a broad education in qualitative and quantitative methods of empirical research with the teaching of sound theoretical knowledge.
