Students participated in Olympic Case Study Competition finals in Lausanne
On 24 March 2026, the final of a Case Study Competition – organized by the IOC Olympic Studies Centre – took place in Lausanne, Switzerland. A team of M.Sc. Sport Management students from Tübingen participated in the final and presented their work to an expert jury.
In the International Olympic Case Study Competition, Master students of the M.Sc. Sport Management program (lecturer: Felix Otto) played against student teams from other universities in a sport management competition. The best teams from all universities participated in a semifinal (held online) to qualify for the final in Lausanne. The finals were organized and hosted by the IOC Olympic Studies Centre.
A team from Tübingen (team members: Laurine Hollenbeck, Eric Steuernagel, and Simon Essel) made it to the finals and presented their work to an expert jury and in front of a large audience. Congratulations to the team for their excellent work and for reaching the finals in a very competitive field.
