Luis Oberrauch holds a Bachelor's degree in Social and Communication Sciences from the University of Vienna (B.A.) and a Master's degree in Economics from Vienna University of Economics and Business (M.Sc.). From 2017 to 2021, he served as a research associate in various projects at the University of Koblenz-Landau. In May 2020, he received his PhD on the topic "Economic Capabilities among Youth: Measurement, Predictors and Behavioral Outcomes".
Since April 2021, Luis Oberrauch is research associate (PostDoc) at the Chair of Economic Education at the University of Tübingen. He also serves as a lecturer at the Cooperate University Baden-Württemberg and as a Research Fellow at the NasdaqCenter at Lehigh University, San Francisco.
His primary research interest is the evaluation of educational interventions in the economic and financial domain with regard to competences, attitude dimensions, individual behaviors and economic preferences. In the context of Educational Large Scale Assessments, he also investigates the psychometric validity of various survey instruments.
