Start of the semester, preparatory courses, informational presentations

Teaching will start on 15 October 2018. Important prep courses and informational meetings, however, may take place earlier, including in particular a maths prep course and an info café for first-year master’s students at the School of Business and Economics. The info café will be organised by our study advisers together with representatives of the student body (“Fachschaft” in German). For further information please go to:

You may also be interested in an online course on “Mathematical Methods in Advanced Microeconomics“ which you can find here:

Access to this online course will be open from 8 August – also for students who are not yet enrolled in a study program at the University of Tübingen. The course will help you repeat all the basics required for the “Advanced Microeconomics” lecture course.

Accomodation in Tübingen

We strongly advise you to start looking for a place to stay immediately after receiving the admission notice because of the difficult housing situation in Tübingen.

German Language Courses

The department for “German as a foreign language” (“Deutsch als Fremdsprache“ in German) offers German language classes. Please find more information on the courses and course dates here.
We advise you to enroll for language classes as early as possible because spaces are limited.

Erstibuch

The Ersti-Buch is a yearbook for first-year master’s students that introduces all your fellow students who begin their studies at the same time. Deadline for signing up and submitting an individual profile is Sunday, 21 October 2018 at 11.59 pm for the winter semester 2018/2019. The latest information for signing up for the Ersti-Buch can be found under this link.
