Nora Ateia, M.A.
Nora Ateia is a Research Associate at the Dept. of Oriental and Islamic Studies since 2015. She is doing her PhD in the field of Sociology on "A Dream of a Good Country: An Ethnography of Emotions and Mobilization in Tahrir Square".
Since 2015 she koordinates AmBiD.
She studied Islamic Studies and Sociology at Tübingen University and since her graduation held several lectureships at Tübingen’s Department for Oriental and Islamic Studies. As part of her research, she spent several months of fieldwork in Cairo between 2011 and 2014.
