Virtual Student Guide for the B.Ed. English

Need Help with ...

... organizing your studies in the B.Ed. English? Looking for further information about the oral exam in the Advanced Modules Literary/ Cultural Studies? Undecided about your course selection in the Basic Module Linguistics? Not sure about the language requirements in the B.Ed. English?

For all students with these and other questions, we have launched our Virtual Student Guide for the B.Ed. English.

Official Documents, FAQ, Feedback and More

The guide offers a comprehensive overview of the study program with all official documents and Frequently Asked Questions for each module in the different areas of study as well as for other concerns such as, for example, changing the study programme to the B.Ed. English, going abroad, help with BAföG forms!

The guide is interactive so that students can leave comments and feedback and make suggestions for additions to the FAQ database and for improvements.

As of late 2019, we also plan on offering online consultation with virtual office hours via chat. The chatroom can be found in the interface of the guide.

As a special feature, the guide also includes a news and events calendar with entries for all (departmental and non-departmental) news and events of special interest to students of the B.Ed. English - from information meetings on the topic of studying abroad and guest lectures at the English Department to events organized by the Tübingen School of Education.

How to Get Access

The guide is designed as a Moodle course with open access. Current students of Tübingen University will only have to log in once with their student ID via Shibboleth and will then be admitted automatically to the course.

To access the guide, simply click on the guide's Moodle login page or scan the QR code in the poster.
