Research interests

I am broadly interested in plant adaptation. My past work focused on adaptation in heterogeneous environments (European Alps, Finnish Archipelago) and to environmental variability. I am currently (1) studying the evolution of phenotypic plasticity to land use management in common grassland plants, (2) using experimental evolution to study the genomics of rapid adaptation to climate, and (3) investigating recent adaptation to climate change using seed bank material.
