Mathematics Preparatory Course for Students of Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Media Informatics, and Cognitive Science

The math prep course is useful and recommended to all first-year students taking up studies of computer science, bioinformatics, media informatics, and cognitive science in winter term 2018/19.
The math prep course takes place over two weeks before the start of winter term, from Monday, October 1st, to Thursday, October 11th, 2018 (skipping the national holiday on October 3rd, 2018).

The prep course takes place in lecture hall F119 at the computer science building on Sand, starting (with a welcome note and introduction) at 10:15 a.m. on October 1st. Participants are formed into small groups and will be woring on the courses subject matter for two weeks (9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day), with an emphasis on time for practise exercises. A preparatory lecture and test are scheduled to take place in the second week of the prep course.
