The library of the Department of Geography of the University of Tübingen is a reference library which can be used by students, scientists, teachers and guests. Users have the possibility to borrow books (max. 5) for short time spans: Monday - Thursdays, starting from two o'clock p.m. until eleven o'clock a.m. of the next morning (overnight). Fridays, starting from twelve o'clock a.m. to Mondays eleven o'clock a.m. of the following week (over weekend). During the vacation it is possible to borrow books up to one week. The bookstock of the library consists of approximately 123.500 items including an extensive bookstock of journals and many atlases. For students are 37 workplaces and 13 computers available. On the first floor there is one photocopier, one printer and a scanner. On the second basement there is in addition a workingroom/seminarroom with 18 seats.
