"Scientific Archaeology"

Scientific archaeology refers to the application of scientific methods to answer archaeological questions. Usually, methods from the fields of chemistry, anthropology, zooology and genetics are most commonly applied. 

The goal of this program is to convey a basic understanding of the natural sciences and their methods to the students to enable them to apply that knowledge in their future research and discuss scientific findings with biologists, chemists etc. 

Although some lectures and seminars are held in English, this program's official language is German - on the German website, you'll find further, more detailed information.
