(75% of an E13 TV-L position, funded by the German Research Foundation, DFG). The position will be offered for three years and will have as topic theoretical investigations of high-resolution imaging with multi-parameter quantum metrology. The position will be based at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University Tübingen, Germany, in the group of Prof. Daniel Braun, and the project will be in close collaboration with Prof. Gerardo Adesso´s group in Nottingham, UK.
We are looking for highly motivated candidates with excellent analytical and programming skills and a sound working knowledge in quantum mechanics. The ideal candidate has previous working experience in theoretical quantum optics or quantum parameter estimation theory. Formal hiring requirement is a master degree in physics or an equivalent degree.
Interested candidates are asked to send a CV (including a list of publications, if any) and a transcript of academic records to email@example.com, and arrange for two letters of recommendation to be sent to the same address.
