Since 2020, Franca Langlet is a doctoral researcher at the Endowed Professorship for Crime Prevention and Risk Management. In her dissertation, she is dealing with the economic analysis of corporate environmental crimes. Previously, she was a research associate at the Endowed Professorship and a doctoral scholarship holder of the Landesgraduiertenförderung.

Franca Langlet obtained her Bachelor of Laws in the "Law in Context" program with a focus on International Law and Political Sciences at the Technical University Dresden - where she was a scholarship holder of the German Scholarship (Deutschlandstipendium). Subsequently, she completed her Master of Laws with distinction at the Maastricht University in "Forensics, Criminology and Law".
