The Faculty of Catholic Theology at the University of Tübingen is one of the most prestigious institutes of its kind – both in Germany and internationally. The faculty enables research work in all areas of theology as well as the interdisciplinary area. Continuous evaluation and the development of new courses ensure high quality teaching. The Catholic Faculty of Theology at the University of Tübingen takes part in international exchange programs, maintains worldwide partnerships and offers study semesters at universities in other countries. Since its foundation in 1817, it has supported dialogue between different denominations and today offers numerous possibilities for discourse and shared research with Protestant and Islamic theologies.
