Functions
The Adviser
- treats inquiries confidentially and anonymously
- only acts with the consent of the person concerned
- discusses options/strategies for action in specific situations with the person concerned and identifies support options
- acts as intermediary: does not offer therapy but if necessary directs the person concerned to external sources of advice
