I am currently a PhD candidate in the department of palaeoanthropology at the University of Tübingen. I am studying the Middle Pleistocene fossil record to understand the relationship between our species, and our closest extinct relatives using virtual anthropology and geometric morphometric approaches. I initially became interested in primate evolution during my Bachelors in Zoology, which developed into an interest in Human evolution during my Masters. My MSc thesis focused in using new virtual anthropological approaches, using finite element analysis, to investigate hominin feeding behaviours. My current research will focus on hominin mandibles to understand and investigate previous taxonomic attributions using new methods.
