Laboratory for Virtual Anthropology and Morphometrics

Among the lab's technical equipment are two optical scanners - a laser scanner (Next Engine) and a structured light scanner (Breuckmann) - as well as 2 MicroScribe digitalisers (RSI GmbH). 

The most recent addition is a high resolution CT scanner (GE phoenix).

Curt-Engelhorn-center Archaeometry Mannheim

The Curt-Engelhorn-Zentrum Archäometrie  is a non-profit establishment which is being financed by the Curt-Engelhorn-foundation of the Reiss-Engelhorn-museums in Mannheim, the city of Mannheim and the University of Tübingen. The archaeometry center was founded in 2004 and conducts archaeometric analyses in their institute in Mannheim.
