Proseminar: Graphics, Computer Vision and Machine Learning (INF3153)

Current publications on computer graphics / computer vision are covered in this seminar. In particular, topics from the areas of advanced computer vision, medical image processing, machine learning and natural language processing are in focus.

Prior participation in at least one of the following lectures and a background in informatics is strongly recommended:

• Graphische Datenverarbeitung
• Bildverarbeitung

• 3 ECTS

First meeting is on 22-April-2024

Successful participation in the introductory seminar includes the following aspects:

• Active participation in the entire event
• A short presentation in the first half of the semester (max. 2 minutes)
• A report on a topic of your choice (6-8 pages, English). A provided LaTeX template should be used for this
• A peer review of the submitted report
• A final presentation of the topic (20 minutes)
