Since October 2022 I am pursuing my PhD under supervision of Bob Williamson in the group "Foundations of Machine Learning Systems". I am working on the implication of probability theoretical assumptions on ethical considerations in machine learning. More concretely, my last work established an insightful connection of fairness notions in machine learning and a century-old randomness notion by Von Mises. Currently, I investigate Dynkin-systems, an exotic set structure, as possible description for privacy-preserving statistical systems.

I am a scholar in the International Max Planck Research School for Intelligent Systems (IMPRS-IS).
