Research
We are interested in plant molecular evolution, with a special focus on the evolution of receptor kinases signaling pathways regulating plant immunity and development. We are using a combination of phylogenetic analyses (bioinformatics) and functional studies (genetics, molecular biology, protein biochemistry, transcriptomics...) in diverse model plant species (including Arabidopsis thaliana and Marchantia polymorpha) to study the molecular evolution of distinct signaling pathways in the green lineage.
