Where can I find info about my studies?

Courses offered can be found in the course catalog: alma

Qualification goals and contents of the modules can be found in your module handbook on the pages of the subjects, usually under the item "studies".

  Choose your subject

Information on the legal basis, examinations to be taken and their deadlines can be found in your study and examination regulations:

Study and examination regulations and selection statutes

What is the best way to organize my studies?

In the introductory courses of the subjects you will receive information and advice on how best to organize your studies (see also "Start of study").

The best order in which to complete the courses is suggested in an idealized course of study. You will receive this either at the introductory events or find it in the respective module handbook. At the introductory events, you will also receive support in putting together your schedule.

There is a time overlap in the timetable

Exercises and internships are often conducted in several parallel groups. This makes it possible to study without overlapping. If, despite this, there are unresolvable overlaps when taking courses, first contact the lecturers and, if necessary, also your subject advisor:  Choose your subject

How can I take courses or register for courses at the MNF?

Depending on the subject and the event, there are different ways to register for events ("event registration").

The complete range of courses is listed in the alma course catalog. In the description of the course you will find further information on booking. For course registration via alma, the student guide will also help you.

If you still have questions, please contact your faculty course advisor.

How can I register for exams?

Registering for a course and registering for an exam are two separate processes - you must always register separately for exams. How this works in alma is explained in the instructions for exam registration.

How can I best organize my studies as a student teacher?

General information on teacher training can be found at the Tübingen School of Education.

Student advisors provide information about the structure of the corresponding subject.

What examinations and course work do I have to take?

The examination regulations define the framework conditions for a degree at the university. They contain information on the legal basis, examinations to be taken and their deadlines.

The module handbook provides information about the structure of the study program and the qualification goals.

The module handbook can be found on the pages of the subjects, usually under the item "Studies".
