Award of the Ernst Waldschmidt Prize 2008 of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation for scientifically valuable achievements in the field of Indology.

Award of the theatre project “Humanistic tradition and old Indian theatre – a school theatre project”, which was carried out with the theatre company of the Gymnasium (High School) Münsingen, with a prize from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. 

Nomination for the Gisela Bonn Award of the Indo-German Society.

- Nomination for the Gräfin von Linden Prize of the Association of Women Scientists in Baden-Württemberg (VBWW). 
- Nomination for the Gisela-Bonn-Award of the Indo-German Society. 

Doctorate in Indology at the Philosophical Faculty I of the Bavarian Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg, awarded with the grade “summa cum laude” (day of the oral examination: 15.12.2004, date of issue of the certificate: 23.08.2005) 

- One-year doctoral scholarship of the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen (LGFG). 
- Supplementary scholarship of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for a trip to India in connection with the preparation of the dissertation. 

Scholarship of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR): two-year stay in Kerala / India at the Academy Kerala Kalamandalam for the scientific and practical training of the Sanskrit theatre complex Kūṭiyāṭṭam.
