AniVision hosts Workshop "Exploring Digital Film Studies" at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten

On 29 and 30 September, the team of the Digital Humanities project AniVision hosted the workshop “Exploring Digital Film Studies: Animation, Ephemeral Film and Visualization” at the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences in Austria. Alongside their St. Pölten colleagues, University of Tübingen project members  Dr. Erwin Feyersinger and Claudius Stemmler not only presented their own work, but offered a platform for an international and interdisciplinary exchange between humanities and computer science. 
As part of four thematic panels, speakers including art historian Prof. Dr. Peter Bell, animation scholar Dr. Ewa Ciszewska, and film scholars Dr. Skadi Loist und Prof. Dr. Malte Hagener presented a variety of topics.
