Academic Profile
I studied and later taught Museology at the Russian State University for the Humanities, Moscow. I have made an international career in museology and I am currently a vice chair of the ICOM International Committee for Museology (ICOFOM) and an associate editor in “Curator: The Museum Journal”. Since 2022, I have been doing PhD research on the history of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) through the lens of Political Anthropology. While working for the Tübingen university, I am also devoting my efforts into growing collaboration between universities and museums in the framework of CIVIS, European Civic University, formed by the alliance of 11 European Universities.
