Hannah Deininger
Hannah Deininger is research associate and PhD candidate at the Hector Research Institute of Education Sciences and Psychology. She conducts research at the intersection between psychology and computer science. Generally, she is interested in how machine learning methods and explainable AI can help to better understand and eventually improve learning processes.. Her main aim is an in-depth investigation of factors influencing learning success and the modeling of learning behavior. To this end, she analyses log file data from digital learning systems and multimodal behavioral data. Further, she works on generating theory-aligned behavioral indicators of learning within digital learning environments.
She is also part of LEAD as the research network gives her the opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary field and get valuable feedback while benefiting from the structured graduate program (e.g., events like the LEAD retreats and workshops).
