Surprise, Suspense and Sentiment from Twitter

Following the seminal work by Ely, Frankel and Kamencia (2015, Journal of Political Economy), we evaluate sentiment in tweets with natural language processing (NLP) tools in order to better understand the subjective evaluations by fans of surprise and suspense elements in football games.
