  • Exploring how causal inference from observational data can benefit from advances in machine learning
  • Understanding the relative strengths and weaknesses of different frameworks for causal inference developed in different disciplines (econometrics, computer science, epidemiology, etc.)
  • Applications of new causal inference methods to typical questions from social sciences
